DISCIPLINARY RULES

  • Students are to reach the school in time prescribed in the school time table, published time to time.
  • All students are to be present in the class before the school prayer/assembly.
  • Late comers should get the ‘Late Note’ and signature in the handbook from the principal, before entering the class.
  • All students are to come to the school with school uniform on all working days, except on their respective birthdays. No students will be permitted to make any alteration to the school uniform pattern.
  • All students are to come to the school with school Sports dress on Wednesdays and Saturdays.
  • All students are to bring the school diary to the school daily.
  • All students are to use English as the medium of communication in the school campus and in the school bus.
  • Students have to maintain discipline through the campus, especially in the class rooms. They have to greet the teachers and the classmates every day. Students should maintain silence when teacher is teaching. Unwanted comments, teasing, mocking of teachers or mates, are punishable.
  • Absenteeism shall be avoided. When it is unavoidable, leave application, printed in the school calendar, duly signed by the parents/guardian, should be submitted to the class teacher. Failing this, the student will not be permitted to enter the class.
  • If any student is absent for 7 consecutive days without producing any intimation to the respective authority, shall not be permitted to enter the class. Moreover, those students name will be forwarded to the BEO for further formalities.
  • If the attendance of any child is less than 85% for each semester, that student will not be permitted to attend the Semester exams.
  • Students are prohibited to leave the school premises during the school hours without written permission from the principal or the concerned authority.
  • Students are prohibited to give gift to the teachers or to arrange any kind of celebration in the class room or in the school premises on their own.
  • Students are prohibited to receive any visitors to the school or to leave the class to attend phone calls.
  • Students are prohibited to bring any sharp objects to the school that can cause injuries.
  • Students are not permitted to come to the school wearing any jewellery ornaments like bangles or necklaces or earrings etc.
  • Students are prohibited to celebrate their birthdays in the school or in the school bus, with cakes, pastries and other expensive and explosive items.
  • Students are prohibited to bring to the school any kind of junk foods, bakery products with plastic cover or wrappers.
  • Plastic is prohibited in the campus and hence students are not to bring any plastic materials to the school campus.
  • Students are prohibited to bring crackers, toys, gadgets, electric and electronic items, camera, cell phones etc. to the school. If any student is found with mobile phone, it will be confiscated by the concerned authority and may hand over it to the parents/guardian only at the end of the academic year.
  • Students are prohibited to keep their hands on other student’s shoulder/ body and move around in the school campus and in the school bus.
  • Students are expected to safeguard the school building, furniture, all types of equipment and machinery. Spitting, grafting, damaging or disfiguring any school property, furniture or building, will be punished with fine and the cost of damage or repairing; it may even bring you suspension from the school.
  • If any student is found with smoking, using and facilitating of alcohol or drugs or intoxicants or any stimulants, in and around the school premises, will be dismissed from the school with immediate effect.
  • Use of abusive language, rowdyism, bullying, ragging and violence in any form, will be punished with termination from the school with immediate effect.
  • Casteism, communalism is strictly prohibited and punishable with suspension; and dismissal from the school for some grievous offence in this regard.
  • Irregular attendance, habitual idleness, unsatisfactory application to studies, disobedience, objectionable moral influence and unsatisfactory conduct in and outside the school will bring dismissal from the school.
  • In and out of the school, all students should behave in a way that brings honour to him, to the school and to the family.
  • Principal’s permission is required for a student to take part in any competition or activity, conducted by any external agency.
  • All students are demanded to maintain discipline, honour and status of the school by orderly behaviour during any public meetings, cultural events or sports competitions.
  • Students should make the maximum use of the school library. Students are permitted to take two books per week. Rules of library and reading room are to be strictly followed. Library card will not be issued for a third time. No students are permitted to circulate the library books to other students, in and out of the school. The name of those students, who violate this, will be blacklisted and no books will be issued to them thereafter.
  • Students are prohibited to circulate or distribute any books, magazines, journals, handbills, CDs, Pen drive or any such kind of objects in the school premises.
  • Students are supposed to get permission and signature from the principal and the class teacher to publish any article, drawing on the notice board.
  • Students, who have fees due against him/her, will not be permitted to represent the school for any sports, co-curricular and cultural competitions.

EXAMINATIONS & RESULT

  • There will be 2 Periodic Assessments and 2 Semestral Assessments exams and Unit tests in every academic year. The model of Marks card and Progress Card is viewable in the school website.
  • Failure to attend the PT & SA exams will adversely affect the promotion of the child; Re-tests/exams will not be conducted for absentees.
  • If the attendance of any child is less than 85% for each semester, that student will not be permitted to attend PT & Sem exams.
  • The student will be permitted to appear for exams only if the fees have been paid against him/her within the prescribed time. The same is applicable for the student to be considered for representing the school in any sports, school band, and the like activities.
  • If any student is found using unfair means or malpractices in examinations or in class test, he/she will be given zero mark for class test and will be debarred from remaining examinations or may even be suspended for repeating the same for a second time.
  • Progress Report Card & Mark Card will be given only to the parents, against demands. The requirement for a second time will be charged.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR PARENTS

  • Parents should have trust in the school, management and teachers and respect and accept the norms and modality of the functioning of the school.
  • Parents are also entitled to abide by the rules and regulation of the school in view of the discipline of the students.
  • Parents should respond in time to the information, requests and enquiries passed from the school.
  • Parents should pay the fee within the time period for each instalment; fine may be imposed, as per the rules intimated, for the delay of payment.
  • Parents are allowed to meet the principal and class teacher on 1 & 3 Saturdays of each month. On other working days, under special circumstances, with prior appointment, parents can meet principal.
  • Parents are permitted to meet teachers only if and when they are not engaged with classes or special assignments.
  • Parents are neither allowed to enter into the class room area nor to meet any teacher or student directly in the campus.
  • Parents are requested to report in the school reception office with their purpose of visit.
  • Parents are expected to promote their children to study regularly and to devote at least two hours each in the morning and evening for studies.
  • We highly recommend all the parents to visit the school, meet the principal and the class teacher and get updated about the performance of their child at least once in each semester.
  • Constant vigilance on the part of parents pays rich dividends. Parents should daily check their children’s school diary and work books. Communication note must be signed/ acknowledged in case needed.
  • We recommend parents to send the children with home-made food in their tiffin box. We request parents not to parcel bakery items or any kind of junk food.
  • Plastic is prohibited in our school campus. Hence parents are requested to send their children to the school without any plastic objects.
  • Complaint on teachers or staff shall be referred to the principal or the director. No Parent/guardian is allowed to fight with any of the school staff. Any kind of untoward behavior by the parents or guardian, in the school campus, will be taken forward legally.
  • If a child is reported frequently with inability to cop up with the CBSE syllabus by the school management, the parents have to take the decision, either to cancel the admission or to continue the admission; in such cases, the student will be permitted to continue only with a written consent from the parents to the school management.
  • Parents should promote their children to partake in all possible co-curricular activities.
  • Students representing the school in any sport or co-curricular or cultural competitions are purely at the decision of the school management; Parents will not have any say in this matter.
  • As per the rule, no kind of physical or psychological punishment shall be imposed on students. Therefore, in case of any grievous offence or violation of the code of conduct from any student, his/ her parents may be summoned to the school. In such cases, the students will not be permitted to enter the class until the parent report to the office.
  • It is obvious that in the schools, there could be some instances where students fighting and hurting each other, or hurting himself/herself while playing or running or so. In such instances, parents should restraint themselves and help the management to peacefully settle the problem. The management shall take action against the offender, according to the seriousness of the instance.
  • Parents should be aware of the mode of disciplinary action taken against the children:
    • Warning letter issued & apology letter demanded from student - 2 times
    • Suspension letter & apology letter demanded from parents - 2 times
    • Dismissal/Termination
  • Parents are supposed to inform the school office any changes of their mobile number or address.
  • TC will be issued only after getting clearance note from the school library office and the accountant office.

SCHOOL BUS

  • School bus facility will be provided only to those students who have applied for bus, while taking the admission and to those who have paid the bus fees in time.
  • Bus service will be available only to the bus stops mentioned in the notice. The boarding points of each bus route with their timings are appended.
  • Exclusive Bus facility will be provided only to those villages/ stops which has minimum 6 students and it may be cancelled in case the number of students come down to the minimum limit.
  • Buses will not be sent inside the village; parents will have to take up the responsibility to drop and pick their respective child at the bus stop informed by the school management.
  • Students are to be at the boarding points 5 minutes before the scheduled time. The bus will not wait for late comers.
  • If a child is reported with any misbehaviour of any sort in the school bus or damaging of any part of the bus will be fined for the first instance and a second instance of that sort will cancel the bus facility for that child anymore in any of our buses.
  • Without the proper intimation letter undersigned by the parents/guardians, no child will be permitted to change the pickup and dropping point.
  • Bus facility may be cancelled for those students who do not pay the bus fee in time.
  • Parents are requested not to fight/argue with any of our bus staff on duty; you are to report the matter to the school office.
  • School bus service will be cancelled to the child of those parents who obstructs our school bus service on road.
